At JUNO we really enjoy ourselves when presented with the task of renovating unique and historical buildings such as the Episcopal Palace of Córdoba. And when it is a UNESCO Classified World Heritage Site, the task makes it is even more interesting as the renovation must be carried out respecting the building’s integrity and preserving its essence.
In addition to using top quality materials from JUNO, it is necessary to have experienced and trustworthy professionals who can carry out such a project - as in this case, thanks to the intervention of Pinturas Calabria Bros, SL.
After carrying out a thorough inspection of the building’s surfaces, the façade showed traces of old paint and mould, as well as surface cracks and damage. These were all cleaned, plastered with render and prepared for subsequent treatment.
After repairing the pathologies detected, all surfaces were painted with the following products:
Sealer/Primer

Primer based on Pliolite resins and special pigments of the highest quality. Provides a system of excellent adhesion on porous supports. Breathable, self-cleaning and resistant to alkalis from the substrate. Ideal to achieve a permeable system of the highest quality.
